On 10th September 2025, a Road Safety Awareness Session was conducted in our school by Mr. Girish, Head Constable Traffic Police from the Department of Road Safety Education. The objective of the programme was to educate students about safe practices on the road and to instill in them the importance of being responsible citizens.
Mr. Girish explained the significance of traffic rules, the use of helmets and seat belts, and the dangers of rash driving and mobile phone usage while on the road. He also shared valuable tips on safe pedestrian practices and the necessity of patience and discipline while commuting.
The session was interactive, with students enthusiastically participating by asking questions and sharing their observations. The resource person emphasized that road safety is not only a personal responsibility but also a social duty.
The programme was both informative and impactful, leaving the students more aware and determined to follow road safety rules in their daily lives.
