Aims & Objectives

The prime aim of St.Francis Convent School is to create a just and human society where the dignity of each human person is respected upholding religious harmony and national integration. We dedicate our service to the wholesome development of the children.

Our Educational  institution seeks to work for the holistic upliftment of a person, by providing suitable and positive environment for the development of physical, intellectual, moral, spiritual, emotional and aesthetic skills in the young mind of the child.

Our patron Saint Francis of Assisi was a man of God who led a life holding the values of simplicity, fraternal love, love for poor and love for nature by imitating Jesus Christ and His Gospel values. Following his footprints our Foundresses Mother Alexia Hoell and Mother Alfons Schmid began our Congregation with the aim of educating the young children. They responded to the need of ‘educating the young’ in America and Europe from 18th century onwards.

Today, we, the members of the International congregation of School Sisters of St.Francis, are involved in the service of humanity with the motto of ‘giving, healing and defending life’. Our humble beginning in the ministry of education is flourishing in various parts of India.

St.Francis Convent School strives to help out each child to discover and unfold their inborn talents and uniqueness. It grooms and trains them to be human persons with right moral conscience, self esteem, social, spiritual and emotional maturity. Its approach to holistic education enables the children to enjoy personal freedom, to form critical judgement, to find solution and to analyse reality while facing the challenges of life.
