The Congregation of the school sister of St. Francis is founded by Mother Alexia Hoell, Mother Alfonse Schimd and sister Clara Seiter in USA in 1874. It is an international Franciscan Congregation. Our foundresses believed that The needs of the time are will of God. In responding to this need , we began our long history of service in education. To love God and to be loved by God must be our sole desire. Today, the sisters are serving the people throuth colleges, schools, orphanages, institutions for physically challenged, homes for the destitute, hostels, dispensaries and rural development programmes. The Spirit and vision of ourFoundresses has moved us on and enabled us to spread over India since 1975.Our reputed institutions are St.Francis ConventSr.Sec.School, Raisen (M.P), St.Francis Convent School, Budni (M. P) and Mother Alexia School, Chayoth, in Kerala.
